The Outdoor Campus-West in Rapid City is a free outdoor education center designed with the whole family in mind. Explore our hands-on indoor exhibits. Relax in front of our 4,600-gallon freshwater aquarium. Stroll our 1.5 miles of trails over 32 acres. And, maybe take a free class to learn more about western South Dakota’s outdoor heritage. We are open seven days per week, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday, and 1-4 p.m. on Sunday.
