STILL CLOSED AS OF OCTOBER 2019 – Deer Mountain Ski Resort near Lead is home to the most powder accumulation in the Black Hills of South Dakota, averaging more than 200 inches of annual snowfall. A winter attraction for all, Deer Mountain offers downhill skiing and snowboarding (with equipment rentals) as well as a Zero Gravity Tube Park.
