Butterfly House

The Sertoma Butterfly House, located in Sertoma Park in Sioux Falls, is a haven for butterfly fans.  With a mission to conserve and and increase awareness of natural surroundings, the Sertoma Butterfly House introduces the public to the majesty of the butterfly.

The 3600 square foot light room features over 800 live butterflies flying free.  Also breathtaking are the flight room’s lush tropical plants, 5 foot waterfall, and koi pond.

The Sertoma Butterfly House is open to the public year round, and has special hours for photographers a few times a month.  A gift shop at the butterfly house features a unique collection of butterfly related books, t-shirts, and gift items.
