Pathways Spiritual Sanctuary near Lead in the northern Black Hills is a quiet, safe, sacred place where visitors can spend time walking, sitting, contemplating, reading, writing, reflecting, or healing in the natural landscape of the sacred Black Hills of South Dakota. It is also home to the Seven Sacred Horses, seven wild horses that are seen as symbols of unity and healing for the seven Lakota nations. The Sanctuary is open daily, 8 a.m. to dusk, from mid-May to the end of October.
